Riskiest States for Employee Lawsuits - Are You At Risk?

Small to mid-sized businesses are faced with at least an 11.7% chance of an employee legal action in the US in 2014 according to Hiscox research.   Even if the charges don’t end up in court, they still carry costs to defend and can cause havoc with your everyday businesses.

That’s why it's important to have Employment Practices Liability Insurance, which covers you when you’re sued even if you did not make a mistake.

Find out how much risk is in your state...

Community Service Spans Generations at Hawley & Associates

At Hawley & Associates, community service is in our blood and it sets us apart from other insurance brokerages.  It's both a personal and professional commitment that each one of our employees shares and it warms our hearts when we see future generations taking on this passion as well.

H&A's Operations Manager, Tammy Christensen's son, Nick Dumas, is taking this passion to heart.  He is currently touring with the Grammy nominated band, the Special Consensus Bluegrass band.  They recently had a two week tour in California and they made a special stop at the Valley Children's Hospital in Madera , Ca. to perform for young patients and their families, many of which have never seen these types of instruments before, let alone have heard bluegrass music.  They also performed a benefit concert for Valley Children's at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Fresno, CA.

Enjoy the video of the performance!
